The fabled Mona Lisa, created by Leonardo Da' Vinci in 1503, is one of the most recognizeable portaits of all time. The portrait is now located in the Louvre in Paris France.
This painting was one of the many scenes form the Sistine Chapel in Florence Italy. This scene depicts God giving the touch of life into Adam. Even though Michelangelo was a Humanist, he still was greatly influnenced by the Roman Catholic Church.
This sketch depicts the human figure porportionately dawn. This is part of a whole array of scientific sketchs done by Da' Vinci. These sketches of human anatonmy would spark medical advances and paved the way for modern medicine.
